What Covid 19 Safety Measures have been implemented?

We are operating with COVID-19 Safety protocols as advised by the Government.https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/covid-19-response-living-with-covid-19

All Actors Studio staff have completed COVID-19 safety awareness training to ensure the safety of our team and attending students. Please wash your hands and use hand sanitiser regularly  following advice to ‘Catch it , Bin it, Kill it’. If you are to sneeze or cough, you must fully cover your mouth and nose with a tissue. Please dispose of your used tissue in the bin outside and wash your hands immediately. If you do not have a tissue to hand use your sleeve and sneeze or cough into the crook of your elbow. You are encouraged to wear a face covering in the public areas of Pinewood Studios and our Partner venues, unless you are exempt. Face coverings can be removed during your class, but if you would prefer to keep yours on you are welcome to. We will provide students with free face coverings if needed. We encourage you to follow Government guidelines if travelling to Actors Studio by public transport. If you experience COVID-19 symptoms or receive a positive COVID-19 test please do not attend your workshop/course/filming session. In this case, please email info@actorsstudio.co.uk and our team will help you to arrange a date to return. We advise that students regularly take a lateral flow test.

What if my booking is affected by Covid 19?

You can book with complete confidence.  Please see our Terms and Conditions page for full details. You are required to read and accept our Terms and Conditions before completing your booking. If you experience COVID-19 symptoms or receive a positive COVID-19 test please do not attend your workshop/course/filming session. I'm an international student, do I need a student visa to study?

No. We are not linked to any educational or government body so in attending any of our courses, you do not require a particular type of visa for you to study with us.

Where are your classes held?

The majority of our courses, including our Masterclass are held at Pinewood Studios. Pinewood is situated a short drive from Uxbridge Tube Station and Slough Overground Station. London courses are typically held at The Audition House unless otherwise specified. Please ensure you read instructions specific for your course.

How do I get to Pinewood Studios?

Pinewood Studios is accessible via car and public transport. Pinewood is located 20 miles from Soho and just 8 miles from Heathrow. It is also close to the M4, M25 and M40, giving direct access to London. Free parking is available on site. You do not need a parking permit

Where travelling with Public Transport, Pinewood is nearby to Uxbridge Tube Station, Slough Station and Gerrards Cross Station. A free shuttle bus service operates to these locations , making travel to the studios easy. Travel time on the shuttle service from the station to the studios is approximately 10 minutes. The Pinewood Shuttle service operates week days only.

Where will we film on location?

Our courses and showreel packages often include filming on location. Locations can very depending on season and availability. Locations as part of a course are usually always within a 7 mile radius of Pinewood Studios to limit travel time.

Can I get a certificate?

Upon completing our Masterclass in Screen Acting, students will be issued with our Four Week Diploma Certificate. Other courses are not presented with a certificate, but on request through info@actorsstudio.co.uk this can be arranged.

What should I wear to classes?

We suggest wearing cool, comfortable clothing to ensure you can be free to participate in physical movement. Specific costume requirements are outlined if you are filming a showreel.

Do I need an acting CV to attend your course?

Upon booking, we will request a copy of your acting CV and headshot. We ask for this to ensure we can offer you the best training possible and we know your acting experience prior to arrival. If you do not have an acting CV and headshot, please email us a short biography and a recent clear photo of yourself.
