For courses longer than 30 days, we recommend consulting your local immigration authority for guidance. If necessary, we are happy to provide supporting documents, including confirmation letters, to assist with your attendance at any of our courses.
Most of our courses take place at the renowned Pinewood Studios, located just outside West London in Iver Heath. Pinewood Studios is conveniently accessible from Central London, and Heathrow Airport is in close proximity. For Central London-based courses, venues like The Audition House, Diorama Arts Centre or Raindance Arts Centre are commonly used unless otherwise stated. Please be sure to review instructions tailored to your specific course or workshop.
Pinewood Studios is easily accessible by both car and public transport. Situated just 20 miles from Soho and 8 miles from Heathrow, it enjoys close proximity to the M4, M25, and M40, offering direct access to London. On-site, free parking is available, and no parking permit is required.
For those using public transport, Pinewood is conveniently located near Uxbridge Tube Station, Slough Station, and Gerrards Cross Station. A complimentary shuttle bus service operates to and from these locations, facilitating convenient travel to the studios. The travel time on the shuttle service from the station to the studios is approximately 10 minutes. Please note that the Pinewood Shuttle service operates on weekdays only, and you can find the current bus timetable on the Pinewood Studios official website.
Our courses and showreel packages frequently involve on-location filming. The specific locations may vary based on the season and availability. Typically, these locations are within a 5-mile radius of Pinewood Studios to minimise travel time. We will make arrangements during your course to ensure a smooth experience.
Upon successfully completing our Masterclass in Screen Acting and 1 Year Shot to Be Seen Course, students will receive a certificate. For other courses, certificates are not automatically provided but can be arranged upon request through info@actorsstudio.co.uk
We recommend wearing cool and comfortable clothing to allow for unrestricted participation during our courses. If you’re involved in filming a showreel as part of your chosen course, specific costume requirements will be communicated to you.
Upon booking, we kindly ask for a copy of your acting CV and headshot. This allows us to tailor our training to your needs and understand your acting background before your arrival. If you don’t possess an acting CV and headshot, please email us a brief biography along with a recent clear photo of yourself to info@actorsstudio.co.uk
Certainly not! Our courses and workshops cater to a diverse age range, and we welcome participants of all ages. Our classes typically feature a varied group of individuals, and we take pride in the diversity of our student body. We accept students from 17 years +. For younger actors aged 11-16, we provide a specialised weekend crash course. Our Rising Star Package is designed to be suitable for actors of all ages.

All our courses and workshops are conducted in English. A proficiency level of English IELTS 5.5 or its equivalent is required.
For courses that include an edited showreel, the final version will be sent to you via WeTransfer approximately seven weeks after the completion of your course for you to download.

Each course webpage will specify the intended level of participants, providing clarity on its suitability for your experience level.
Accommodation is not included in our courses. However, we can offer guidance on suitable nearby locations based on recommendations from previous students, often found through platforms like Airbnb. We suggest considering accommodations close to transportation hubs such as Uxbridge, Slough, Gerrard’s Cross, and West Ruislip train stations, enabling easy access to the Pinewood Studios free shuttle bus service if you are not driving.Â
Unfortunately, we do not allow observers for our courses and workshops. However, we recommend joining our 1 Day Screen Acting Taster Workshop or short online workshops as an alternative, providing valuable insights into our offerings. For any specific questions or additional information, please don’t hesitate to contact our Actors Studio team.Â
Regrettably, we do not permit students to attend classes as makeup sessions for missed ones. This policy is in place to avoid disruptions for other students and tutors during ongoing classes. Additionally, our tutors prefer to customise their sessions based on each group of students, making it unlikely that the content covered will align precisely with your original class.
Rest assured, all the necessary scripts for your course/workshop will be provided by us.

Pinewood Studios Venue
Our studio at Pinewood has a set of stairs leading to the main workshop area. Unfortunately, there is no ramp or elevator available.
London Venues
Old Diorama: All studios on both floors have step-free access, with the first floor accessible via a lift. There are gender-neutral, accessible toilets and showers on each floor.
New Diorama: The venue features entrance-level access with a wide, automatic sliding entrance door. The auditorium, café/bar, and unlocked accessible toilet are all located on this level.
Raindance: Toilets are provided for all room booking clients and are wheelchair accessible.
Our courses and workshops do not offer a formal qualify qualification. Instead, our focus is on providing you with the opportunity to receive top quality training from current Leading Industry Creatives.
We regularly update our course programme with new dates throughout the year. If you don’t see any listed dates, please feel free to contact us and we’ll be delighted to assist you in finding suitable options. We limit class sizes to maximise your learning experience. If space is unavailable, you can be added to a waiting list, and we’ll notify you promptly if a spot opens up. Under certain conditions, it might be possible to accommodate an additional individual. However, this is contingent upon the venue’s capacity and the nature of the class.
Spotlight is a platform that links performers with opportunities in theatre, television, and film productions globally. Casting professionals prefer Spotlight for their projects because Spotlight performers are acknowledged as some of the industry’s finest.
To be eligible for Spotlight Membership, you must successfully complete a minimum of 2 years worth of part-time training with Actors Studio.
We assign points for each course or workshop you successfully complete at Actors Studio. Upon accumulating a minimum total of 400 points, you become eligible to apply for Spotlight Membership.
The point values for our courses and workshops, which can be found on our website, vary based on their duration and the associated non-contact study hours.Â
Upon successfully completing our 1 Year Shot to Be Seen course, you will automatically qualify to apply for Spotlight membership.Â

Whilst we can’t directly assist you in securing an agent, we can offer some guidance on the steps you can take.
Frequently, we receive direct inquiries from productions seeking to hire actors. In such cases, we consistently recommend actors who have received training at Actors Studio and are well-prepared for the demands of the industry.
Remember that securing representation can take time, and it’s essential to be patient and persistent. It’s also beneficial to continue honing your craft, building your resume, and staying active in the industry.

Yes, there is a coffee shop and canteen available, both of which cater to a variety of dietary requirements. However, please note that these facilities are closed on weekends. Students attending courses on weekends are advised to bring a packed lunch.
