The following terms and conditions are set out to protect all parties involved when booking a course at Actors Studio.
When signing up to a course at Actors Studio, you acknowledge that on booking we are entitled to do all that we deem necessary to plan for your participation on the course. You acknowledge that this may extend to acquiring additional equipment, restructuring the delivery of the course, and changing tutors to accommodate your placement. Accordingly you agree that the Cancellation Policies included in these terms and conditions are both fair and reasonable and as far as you are aware reflect the circumstances at the time of booking.
When joining any of our courses you acknowledge and accept that, due to the nature of this industry, tutors and locations are susceptible to change without notice. Actors Studio will notify students where possible via email.
To secure a place on a course, Actors Studio requires payment either a deposit or full payment of the course. A payment plan can be arranged if required. An administration charge of £30 will be levied against the account where an installment plan is requested for course, workshop and Bespoke Showreel Package fees.
If you cannot attend a course on which you have booked and made a payment for we can offer you the following:
Transfer you to an alternative course or the same course you have booked for when it runs again at a later date. Refund you 50% of the money you have paid for the course. Refunds must be requested no less than 14 days before the course begins or the refund will be refused. If you wish to make a complete cancellation less than 14 days before your course begins – no refunds are available under any circumstances and full payment of fees will be required. Once you have transferred your booking, you cannot request a refund under any circumstances.
Our programs and other activities are not in any way affiliated with The Actors Studio based in New York, and our use of this name does not represent a sponsorship or other endorsement by that organisation whose website can be accessed at www.theactorsstudio.org
It is your, the customer’s responsibility to make sure your belongings are safe and secure at all times. Actors Studio is not responsible for any personal damages or losses.
We accept no responsibility for you travelling to and from the studio.
All accidents are reported in our incident book.
We reserve the right to make alterations to any of the courses at short notice. Including moving dates and changes to teaching staff.
You must arrive at least 10 minutes prior to your class starting and vacate the premises promptly after the class has finished.
If you are on a payment plan it is important that you keep a note of when your instalments are due. If you have requested payment plan, your Debit/Credit card used on booking will automatically be debited on the dates advised inside your booking confirmation email.
SHOWREEL COURSES: Upon completion of the course you will receive 1 copy of your edited show reel. If you wish to purchase any further copies, enhancements or edited versions, additional charges apply. Showreels are not sent out until all tuition fees are paid in full.
Booking & Payments:

Information about courses and related products and services (including price) is subject to change across platforms without notice.
For our 4 Week Masterclass, when full payment isn’t made, a £500 deposit, and £100 admin fee must be paid at the time of booking to secure your place. Any remaining balance is due no later than 30 days before the starting date of the course. Payment is deemed to have happened when we have received cleared funds. If all payments haven’t been made 30 days before the course, Actors Studio has the right to cancel your place without refund of deposit and admin fee.
You may cancel your place on our 4 Week Course for a partial refund of £500 or transfer your booking to the next available date when Actors Studio is notified 30 days before the start date. Only one transfer can be made. If you do not transfer your booking and cancel 29 days or less before the start date, then you are liable to pay the full fee.
Changes to our Course
When joining any of our courses you acknowledge and accept that due to the nature of this industry, tutors and locations are susceptible to change without notice. Actors Studio will notify students where possible via email.
Visiting Pinewood Studios
When attending courses held at Pinewood Studios, you agree to follow any instructions given by studio staff and to read all safety information provided to you upon arrival. To enter Pinewood Studios, you are required to show Photographic Identification through the form of a Driving Licence, Passport or other official documents that verify you with a photograph.

A deposit of £500, and £100 admin fee secures a place on our 4 Week Course. Full payment is due 30 days before the start of the course. However, we are happy to discuss payment plans for most of our courses. Payment is deemed to have happened when we have received cleared funds. When payments are not made, Actors Studio has the right to cancel your place without refund of deposit and admin fee.
CANCELLATIONS AND TRANSFERS
All cancellations and requests to transfer to a different course must be received in writing (email or letter) 30 days before the start date of a course.
You may cancel your place on our 4 Week Course for a partial refund of £500 or a transfer can be made to the next available date when Actors Studio is made aware 30 days before the start date. Only one transfer can be made. If you cancel within 29 days or less before the start date, then you are liable to pay the full fee.
When transferring to another date of our 4 Week Course, 30 days notice must be given before the starting date. Please note that if the next course is full, a subsequent date within the next year may be offered instead. The arranged date is then fixed and can no longer be transferred. If you decide to cancel, you are liable to pay the full fee.
Students are required to attend every day of their course in order to receive their diploma certificate. If a student is absent for any reason we will endeavour to catch up the work missed within the remainder of their course. If this is not possible, the student will be required to return at a later date to complete their training.
Students are required to behave in a professional manner whilst attending any courses at Actors Studio. We hold the right to refuse training to students under the influence of substances such as illegal drugs or alcohol without refund.
PHOTOGRAPHY & RECORDING
In accordance with Pinewood Studio Regulations, all photography, filming and recording of any sort is prohibited outside the premises of Actors Studio. Any breach of this regulation will result in a student’s identification pass being confiscated and removed from the course without refund. Should students wish to take photographs, video or audio recordings within the premises of Actors Studio, permission must be expressed by a member of staff.
Photos on our website are licensed stock photography and privately owned images of staff, which have been granted consent to use on Actors Studio website.
The price of headshots (£150) includes a non-refundable £30.00 booking deposit. Should you cancel your booking, you will receive a refund of £120.00. You may change your booking 7 days before your shoot. If you require to change the date of your shoot after this you will need to pay a new £30 deposit online and you will be contacted to arrange a new time slot and date.
