Act on Screen – The Director’s Guide with Showreel
Introduction
Looking to film two cinematic showreel scenes and boost your performance skillset on camera? This intensive week at Pinewood Studios is for actors with previous training or experience who are looking to be pushed to their limits and add new cinematic content to their showreel under the Direction of Tim Kent. Working with our award-winning crew, you will refine your etiquette on set and learn new techniques to make sure your performance always makes the cut.
Course Outline
Over 5 Days you will explore the skills required for film and television acting through a range of practical exercises and daily intensive sessions. Working with multi award winning Director Tim Kent, you’ll gain the screen acting knowledge needed to work in front of the camera. You will be cast in two scenes filmed over the week following two days of training and rehearsals.

Tim Kent
Director
Tim Kent founded the Actors Studio in 2005. Previously an agent representing household names for 12 years, Tim is now working as a Director and Producer based at Pinewood Studios with his Feature Film Sparrows Call due for cinema release in 2023. Tim is highly experienced in working with international talent and has a reputation for fostering new actors to find them success on screen.
