Sue has a reputation for introducing new and exciting talent to the screen, having given early television parts to Ian Hart, Johnny Lee Miller, Lyndsey Marshal and Rupert Evans. This course offers a unique opportunity for you to learn from and build a working relationship with a highly experienced director. The course will concentrate on the importance of back story in the creation and presentation of a character. You will create the underlying energy which informs the characterisation. This will involve both improvisation and working on sections of script to create backstory from both fact and imagination. There will be exercises both off and on camera and as part of the process there will be explanation of the technical demands of working on camera.
