Key Skill

Furthering your understanding of The Meisner Technique
Part 2 is all about moving from exercises to full application. You’ll deepen your understanding of the Repetition exercise, Independent Activity work, and text application, and learn how to integrate these tools seamlessly into performance. This is a fully practical, hands-on class where you learn by doing. Meisner’s technique is like a gym for actors — it flexes your acting muscles and prepares you to dive into any scene or monologue with confidence. In Part 2, you’ll focus on applying these exercises to real-world performance situations: scenes, text, and character work. Skye Hallam, your Meisner tutor guides with warmth and generosity, creating a space where you can experiment, play, and push yourself — all while feeling safe and supported.
  • Suitable if you are (17 yrs+) have had some previous Meisner training or have completed Part 1
  • Attracts a varied age range. International Students Welcome
  • The course is taught in English, so it is important that you have proficient English language skills

    Skye Hallam

    Actress, Writer, Director & Acting Coach

    Skye Hallam is an Anglo-Indian actress from Kingston Upon-Thames. Skye trained at RADA, graduating in 2016, making her stage debut with TARA Theatre in ‘Paradise of the Assassins’. Her credits include, ‘Life of Pi’, ‘The Crown’ (Netflix) ‘The Alienist’ (TNT/Netflix) and Daniel Alfredson’s film trilogy ‘Intrigo’. Recent credits include: Olive Lashbrooke in John Van Druten’s ‘The Voice of the Turtle’ at Jermyn Street Theatre for which Skye was an Offie finalist in 2025 and ‘Tweedle Dee’ in Alice in Wonderland at the Marylebone Theatre, which is running at the Riverside Studios in March 2026. Skye is also an associate acting teacher at LAMDA, RADA and various other institutions specialising in Meisner technique, Laban technique and Classical Text. Skye’s drop in acting classes run monthly at the Marylebone Theatre. Skye is also a freelance director; her credits include ‘The Tempest’ and ‘Hamlet’ at LAMDA & Kali theatre’s ‘Phantasmagoria’ at the Southwark Playhouse and ‘The Tempest’ at the Globe Theatre.
