We are excited to announce that Actors Studio training now gives actors Spotlight eligibility. Actors will need to earn 400 points in Actors Studio training to be eligible for Spotlight. Previous students who have trained onwards from January 2021 are able to claim points on what they’ve attended. This unique points system gives actors flexibility to spread out their training, or work intensively over a shorter period and helps to make our courses, in addition to Spotlight eligibility more accessible.
We’re proud to work with Spotlight, who have recognised the quality and integrity of our training to support actors from around the world and fuel their careers for success. As the industry continues to evolve, our training responds to ensure actors are receiving the very best education and opportunity to stand-out from the crowd.
Historically, Spotlight only accredited full time drama school training but as more opportunities arise for under represented groups and successful actors who haven’t attended drama school, we felt it was important to realign our values.
The past few years have been challenging for many actors, but we continue to remain positive for the future and grateful for the ongoing support we’ve received from around the globe. This is the first of many exciting steps we’re taking to ensure we remain the No.1 Provider of Screen Acting Training.
