This immersive, hands-on course runs from 10 am to 5 pm each day at Pinewood Studios, providing multilingual actors the tools to master a polished RP accent. On Day 1, you’ll build a strong foundation with focused work on pronunciation and sound placement, refining the subtleties that bring clarity to each word.
On Day 2, the focus shifts to linking, rhythm, and intonation, with practical exercises to bring flow and authenticity to your speech. Through personalised feedback from our experienced coach, you’ll develop an accent that enhances your range for diverse roles and makes a powerful impact on screen.

Weds 26th March: Pronunciation and Sound Placement
- Introduction to the muscle movements for English speech.
- Targeting challenging sounds and sound combinations.
Weds 2nd April: Linking, Intonation, and Rhythm
- Focus on intonation, rhythm, and musicality of English.
- Exercises on linking sounds and natural flow.
Weds 9th April: Accent-Specific Practice with Texts
- Working on specific texts to identify accent challenges.
- Listening and observation exercises for identifying problem areas.
Weds 16th April: Practicing & Feedback
- Text-based practice with instructor feedback via video.
Weds 23rd April: Application in Performance
- Apple your new skills in a performance, receiving final feedback and advice to carry forward.
- Leave the course with skills and techniques to apply for any scene.
