Jay East

UKCP Registered Psychotherapist CTA(P), Supervisor, Group Facilitator & Trainer

Meet Your Tutor

Jay is a UKCP Registered Psychotherapist bringing with her a wealth of body orientated knowledge and a holistic grounded approach from many of the trainings and workshops she has untaken over the years to inform her practice.

Jay’s approach is rooted in Transactional Analysis (TA), a widely respected form of modern psychology founded by Eric Berne, known for its accessible insights into human behaviour and relationships. This method provides actors with simple, practical tools for understanding themselves and enhancing their emotional range, essential for developing more authentic, complex performances.

In these workshops Jay incorporates elements from body-psychotherapy, especially Charles ‘Chuck’ Kelley’s Radix techniques, to help actors access a deeper emotional connection and create a resonant authenticity on stage and screen.
