The Emerging Talent Advancement Course is suitable for those with some training / previous experience in acting who are looking to improve their performance and build on their knowledge and skillset. It aims to take your basic acting skills, develop them further and introduce new methodologies. This course is designed to be repeatable allowing participants to continually build on their individual skillset. It is also an ideal follow on from our Introduction to Acting Course.
Over 10 intensive Sunday sessions you will work practically, building on a set of skills that will culminate in the filming of your own showreel scene with a professional crew at the world famous Pinewood Studios.
The course will see you addressing physicality, voice, performance and interpretation of text – both monologues and duologues, the language of screen acting, technique pertaining to Stanislavski, Michael Chekhov, Meisner and others and acting techniques specific to screen acting.
As well as being repeatable itself, this course is also designed to be the ideal stepping stone to progress onto our Audition, Business & Craft of Screen Acting Course. It is perfect or those dedicated to pursuing a professional career on screen.
You will work alongside BBC Regular Sarah Hannah, who focusses on enhancing the skillset of the individual over the course, enabling you to push yourself in all areas of performance.
