Intermediate Acting (Lvl 2) takes your basic acting skills and develops them further while introducing new methods. As an ideal follow on from our Introduction to Acting, you will cover more advanced techniques, with an emphasis on improvisation skills, the practical uses and the art of reacting.
Over 10 Sunday sessions, you will study and perform monologues and duologues, understand and practice rhythm, build character and discover how to bring a script to life, providing you with the opportunity to develop your technique in depth. The practical syllabus will also cover the craft of screen acting and performing to camera, while introducing a range of audition techniques.
This course is the ideal stepping stone to progress onto our Level 3 – Advanced Acting course and for those dedicated to pursuing a professional career on screen. You will work alongside BBC Regular Sarah Hannah, who focusses on the individual over the course enabling you to push yourself in all areas of performance.
