5 Day Screen & Showreel – Mel Churcher

Work directly with world renowned acting, voice and presentation coach, Mel Churcher on this comprehensive 5 day training course. Former Actor and broadcaster with over 35 years’ experience Mel Churcher, has worked with some of the biggest names in the industry, training actors and working closely with Directors on a range of International film and TV projects. With a holistic approach, students will be taken through the step by step process of creating, developing and delivering assured on screen performances. Students (18+) will be encouraged to find unique attributes within their personality and preserve it within their on-screen performance.

Covering technical skills in screen acting craft, students will be taught the principals of ‘The Actor’s Toybox’ focusing on; breathing and posture work, psychological gestures and finding your ‘Chi’ power. Based at Pinewood Studios, the students will rehearse and shoot two scenes Directed by Mel which will be edited into a professional showreel. Walk away with a professional showreel Directed by Mel and shot with our award-winning crew on RED at Pinewood Studios. Scenes are devised according to your strengths & casting type, then edited by our showreel specialists to ensure it makes an impact.   

Taught in English, this course is suitable for International students who can understand and speak fluent English.
