Exercises for the Actor

Body-Psychotherapeutic Modalities

The methods used will help make you aware of the unconscious aspects of your embodied psycho-physiological structures, which might be limiting the range of emotional authenticity that you can access whilst performing.

You’ll be offered exercises to address these, which if consistently applied can help expand your range of authenticity in performance to screen.

Emotional & Physical Improvement

Supporting your Audition

The techniques Jon and Jay draw upon are emotional-physical in nature and involve group work and paired couples, requiring movement, touch and directed verbal exchanges.

You’ll experience the exercises, learn about their theoretical underpinnings and gain an understanding of how they can be employed to enhance the authenticity of your performances.
