Tim Kent is a multi-award winning film producer and director, boasting over 25 years experience within the industry and forging a reputation for developing screen acting. From his origins in front of screen, Tim built a highly respected Talent Agency representing a range of household names in Film and Television. Tim naturally turned to Screen Actors Training, writing and producing training films distributed by the National Theatre Bookshop and devising courses from his base at the world-renowned Pinewood Studios with his company The Actors’ Studio.
Tim gained invaluable experience coaching new and established actors which inspired him to create Clever Boy Media with business partner, Producer / Director Nic Phillips (Doctors, Birds of a Feather, Eastenders). To date, Tim has over 10 Director / Producer credits and recently Directed the short film ‘The Prowler’ written by Matthew Arlidge, working with the highly-regarded Cinematographer James Friend BSC (Silent Witness, The Rapture, Beowolf). Tim won ‘best director’ in his debut with his short film ‘Two Persons Max’ and has received many accolades and recognition throughout his blossoming Directorial career including a ‘Best film’ nomination for ‘At your service’ in the London Independent Film festival.
